Congrats on BOTD!
Renaii West's "Death by Chaos" serves as a reminder of how unproven accusations can impact friendships. Upon entering college as a freshman, Tasha becomes friends with Elizabeth, Dawn, and Miranda. This book teaches us to pursue the truth with tenacity.

I have always been intrigued to read murder mystery, the plot always keeps turning and everyone is usually a suspect and when the mastermind is revealed everyone is always in shock and that's why Death by Chaos is a must read.

Tasha, Elizabeth, Dawn and Miranda's student life at Parnassus Canyon University reminds me of the carefree life I heard at university. Like life is the campus and nothing will ever end. It's sad though that a student's death is attributed to them. Thanks for the review.

I read your review and sampled the book, and I am unsure what I enjoyed more! Like you, I was pulled into the book instantly. Your review confirmed my thinking that this is a great murder mystery. I have only sampled the opening episodes of Elisha going to buy Bio 101 Q&A from Kip and witnessing Kip's spat with Miranda, and then the arrival of Tasha to the female-only dorm. I have yet to encounter the gloss-overs you mention. As for the Greek mythology references you felt were excessive, so far "the Adonises" and "the Herculesses" I came across looked good. But I may come across more as I read on. :)

I wonder who among the Goddesses of 407 is suspected of the death. I hope Tasha is able to uncover the murder mystery.

Thank you for the great review.

I enjoy reading Murder Mystery Books and found your review to be quite interesting. I prefer fast-paced books, but like you, I'm not a fan of skipping over decades just to maintain a quick pace. It seems like once the book got into the main part of the story, you felt it was gripping and well-written. I will be adding this to my to-read list.

It's never pleasant when one moves from being on top of the world to suspect and rejection. It's strange that Tasha only investigates after 20 years. I love murder mysteries and looking forward to reading this one. Thank you for your informative review.

Great review! It sounds like Death by Chaos really pulls you in with its unique characters and intriguing plot twists. I appreciate your honest take on the pacing and the Greek mythology references—those elements can definitely make or break a story depending on personal taste. I’m curious to see how the mystery unfolds and how Tasha's character evolves throughout the book. Thanks for the heads-up on potential triggers too, it’s always good to know what to expect!
