Re: Review of Chloe The Clone

The plot of the book is really exciting and thought-provoking, dwelling on the concepts of "morality, survival, and the length a person is willing to go to protect someone they love". Cloning is something people have heard a lot about but still know nothing about. It will be interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Stories about cloning make great sci-fi stories. They hit the sweet spot of fiction and reality. I am interested in seeing what stance Chloe The Clone takes. It feels more nuanced than the typical 'cloning bad' that dominates sci-fi. Can't wait to see how Sam, Chloe, and Andropov's story ends.

Concepts of morality, survival, and the length a person is willing to go to protect someone they love are worthwhile reading about. It is really scary to think that a sentient being, even if it is a clone, has to die so that someone else can live. To create such a scenario is inhuman. Thank you for your informative review.

Chloe The Clone is an intriguing science fiction novel that blends adventure, mystery, and emotional depth with a unique twist on the age-old questions of identity and humanity. The story follows Chloe, a young girl who discovers she is a clone, raised in a controlled environment and trained to be part of an experimental society. As Chloe begins to explore her own existence, the story delves into her struggles with self-worth, the idea of being "made," and what it truly means to be human.

The world-building in Chloe The Clone is impressive, capturing the complexity of a society where cloning is not only possible but integrated into the fabric of life. The ethical dilemmas surrounding cloning, individuality, and free will are explored in ways that feel both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant. Chloe’s personal journey of self-discovery and her quest for belonging keep readers engaged as they root for her to navigate the challenges of being a clone in a world that treats her as less than human.

The pacing of the story is steady, with moments of tension and high stakes that keep the plot moving forward without overwhelming the reader. The relationships Chloe forms with other characters—both clones and humans—add layers to the narrative, particularly her bond with a group of fellow clones who challenge her perception of her role in the world.

While the book occasionally dips into familiar tropes, such as the rebellious clone or the cold, authoritarian figures controlling the experiment, these elements are handled with enough nuance to avoid feeling cliché. The emotional stakes are real, and Chloe’s internal conflict is the heart of the novel.

Overall, Chloe The Clone is a gripping and reflective read that explores themes of identity, autonomy, and the essence of being. Fans of speculative fiction and character-driven stories will find much to appreciate in this novel, which raises important questions about what makes us truly human in an increasingly technological world.

I have always been interested in how cloning technology will evolve and how society will adapt to it (legally and morally). This book follows the moral dilemma of using a sentient clone that was bought by Sam, who desperately needs the clone for a heart transplant.

This is a beautiful review. However, this is not my kind of genre. I don't usually find sci-fi books interesting.

Thank you for your review. This is a compelling story of an illegally created clone that is made to grow a heart for a specific human. Thanks to laws in place to not allow this, the thriller shows the pitfalls, as the protagonist meets the clone and falls in love.

I hope they both survive because if I were in Sam's position, I would do anything to save myself and the clone. This book has a unique plot and is certainly worth being the book of the day. Congratulations on the book of the day.

I must say the plot sounds extremely interesting. I'm excited to know how Sam's journey will unfold. The topic of sentient clone is certainly intriguing. I love fiction and this one seems like a good one.

I'm curious about cloning but the science about it has always called for extensive understanding of genetics. However, this book has piqued my interest since I'll be able to read more about the subject while enjoying an interesting story, thus making my reading experience enjoyable.

After reading the sample, I'm definitely interested in reading the rest of the book. Yes, the errors are there and they do take away from the immersion, but the storytelling is still interesting. I had seen this previously on Smashwords and thanks to your review along with the sample, I do feel I'd enjoy this book.

The concept of organ harvesting from identical clones is new and unique. Added to that, the existence of a responsive and reactive clone makes the journey of Sam much more thrilling. I look forward to enjoy my read. Thanks for a wonderful review!
