An interesting and captivating read. The novel skillfully combines aspects of science fiction with real-world scenarios, addressing significant issues including the influence of social media, diet products, obesity, addiction, and violence. Readers will benefit from the inclusion of instructional content at the conclusion. Congrats on BOTD.

I love food so much, but the moment I read the title of the book I got puzzled a bit. Does food have a dark side? It is an interest arousing book title. The storyline sounds intriguing, allowing the reader to follow through five students who are on a mission to uncover the connection between Aurora and Sol-ace, an organization that is deemed malicious. I will read the book now that I have a free copy.

The title of this book made me think the author was talking about the negative effects of food. Harleen & Andrew uses a real life craving to tackle real life issues like the influence of social media influence, addictions, the effects of internet, violation etc. This is a very interesting book. Thanks for the review.

Oh well, was about asking for the relation between the title and book before I found one. I like the author's creativity as it seems. Congrats on BOTD

Aurora Borealis, AI, and a whole lot of parallels around food is quite a unique combination for a plot. The review is promising and will interest lovers of sci-fi in a comic format. Thank you for your review.

I quite like the theme of the book and it's point of view. It's general knowledge that half of youth is following influencers and that too is blindly. This book goes from a science narrative towards the problem of food that we eat and it's side effects. Probably a gem.

This graphic novel sounds intriguing! I love the theme of friendship and the idea that anyone can be a hero. It’s so important to question what we see and learn from our experiences. Plus, the artwork and dialogue being praised makes me even more excited to check it out.

Is it me, or are there little bits of conflicting details in the review about the book?
First, there is obviously more than one author who authored the book. However, some parts of the review inferred one author.
Second, I'm confused about how to refer to the story - as a comic or a science fiction written in comic form?
There are other bits of confusion. However, I wish to mention only these two, not to put down the review, but to gain clarity to enable me to make a holistic comment about the book.
From the little insight gained, "The Dark Side of Food" by Harleen and Andrew employs flawless pictures with sound storytelling using situations that we face daily to educate readers on various body systems and leading a healthier life.

The title of the book my make you think it's about the food but it isn't but it can draw you attention to reading it .I like how the author brings the topic of how influencers on social media bring out different harmful things that some people can follow blindly like diet and obesity. It's a good book I guess

The Dark Side of Food is great graphic novel. I found the art work to be stunning, satisfying and quite realistic in terms what information is on our screens. The story is really quite good considering that I don’t often think about the richest man in the world trying to fix its problems! Great story and concept. I love the idea of the “buddy-hood”.

The book picked my interest being a comic book and dwelling on the topics of AI and food: eating disorders, healthy eating habits and the appropiate diets which are very popular nowadays. But the fact that it is not a standalone book and the answers to some of the questions were left for the next book dampened down my enthusiasm a little bit. Still congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The Dark Side of Food by Harleen and Andrew expertly combines humor and science fiction to tell the story of millionaire Dr. Baldr Johannsen's exciting adventure. Through its recognizable themes, the novel skilfully tackles contemporary societal challenges like the effects of social media and diet culture. The comic strip format simplifies difficult conversations while giving the story more depth. This book captivates readers with a compelling blend of mystery and thought-provoking commentary, making them eager for the next entry in the series.
