I would love to find out who is behind this evil and it's sad the trauma Matt and Gabriel had to experience.

This is a really interesting book that looks into the effects of crime and mystery. This crime triller seems to be centrally focused on a family that has been through two mysterious death tragedies that looks as though the family is targeted and the police investigation will unravel the suspense. It would actually be an amazing book to read

'As time went by and the wounds healed, the family returned to their normal lives. The family planned their weekend outing; this was supposed to be a memorable day with a happy ending, but disaster struck the family again.'
This sounds like a complicated but interesting family drama.

I feel this book holds much promises of suspense, crimes and an undeniable presence of such tragedies that can make anyone stick around until they're able to find something that can bring joy and relief. It's really intense, so much to take in.

I’m looking forward to reading this book. The relationships between the characters sound very interesting and I think that the investigation into the murders will be something to see as well.

This review was very well written! I found it very informative - maybe even a little TOO informative. I feel as if I've already gotten to know the characters. Your description of the plot was very well rounded and it enticed me to dive a little deeper. I didn't totally understand the situation that happened surrounding the fall off the cliff, so I would definitely be tempted to pick this book up and find out for myself! I love a good plot twist and a good murder mystery. Thanks for the review!

I would say if I were Matt in A Kind of Hush by JoDee Neathery, I would not recover from such trauma. How do you wrap your mind around an adult drowning in shallow water? I can't help to imagine how devastated he would have been. This novel is a thrill.

This is an excellent review that offers a comprehensive look at A Kind of Hush. I appreciate how you highlighted the depth of the family dynamics and the emotional challenges they faced after such devastating losses. It’s intriguing how the author intertwined suspense, romance, and crime to create a compelling narrative. I also found your comments about Connor’s investigation thought-provoking; it seems like his personal involvement clouded his objectivity, which added to the tension of the story. Your observations about Willa’s behavior and the missed opportunities in the investigation make me curious about how the mystery unfolds. The fact that the editing was spotless is a bonus, and your high rating solidifies my interest in giving this book a try. Thanks for such a detailed and engaging review!
