Re: Review of Chloe The Clone

Today's BOTD is a suspenseful scifi thriller that follows 56yo Sam and 10yo Chloe, a sentient clone created to provide Sam with a heart transplant. As they journey to Mexico for the procedure, Sam knows he must protect Chloe from the corrupt CEO and the FBI, while struggling with moral and emotional dilemma of loving Chloe, who calls him Grandpa. This sounds like a great read! Too bad about the editing issues. Either way, I've added this to my WTR list...thank you for the helpful review! :-)

This book is unique and interesting, and I’m curious to see how Sam Turner’s bond with his sentient clone develops as they fight for survival.

This review does a great job of breaking down the strengths and weaknesses of Chloe the Clone. I appreciate how you highlighted the moral dilemmas surrounding cloning and organ transplants, as that seems like a compelling and thought-provoking theme in the book. The emotional investment you felt in Sam, Chloe, and Wellstone makes me even more curious to see how their journeys unfold. It’s unfortunate that some aspects of the story felt too convenient or underexplained—missing details like how Francisco found Victor could impact the story’s immersion. Also, the lack of professional editing is something to consider before picking it up. Still, it sounds like a gripping read with strong suspense and an engaging plot. Thanks for the insightful review!

This book seems fascinating, and I’m looking forward to reading about Sam’s adventures with his sentient clone, to find out whether they survive.

A compelling story with reflective content. Is it moral to create a clone in order to harvest it's organs for transplant? Being sentient makes the clone a living being so it could be murder. Definitely worth reading..

Definitely not my cup of tea, because I find the concept of cloning ethically and morally unacceptable on all levels. Sorry, but I really have no desire to read any book related to this subject and will have to skip it.

It sounds like a great thrilling suspense book. Cloning has been touched on in many movies and books, but I have not seen one that touches on these aspects.
Thanks for the great review. I could not find the sample to read, but I did read the blurb the author wrote in the book.

At first Sam just wants his clone to save his life he doesn't see him as a person, but as a spare part. But when Chloe becomes conscious and starts talking to him like he's her grandfather everything changes

I enjoy fictional books and this one promises not to disappoint in any way. I'm so curious to understand what it looks like to live with a sentient clone--what kind of journey will a sentient clone and Sam walk?

The review is well detailed. The story isn't my cup of tea. I can see the excitement in the events, though. So I think it will appeal to many readers. Congrats on BOTD

"Chloe The Clone" by William E. Mason is suspense thriller story with central theme of clone, which shows the advantages and disadvantages. It is mixture of morals, society issues, mainly it showcase the technology advances and its side effects.
