Thank you for your informative review. I did like the simple language that the author used. I'm glad you like the book for the most part. I'm not into cloning, and hope it doesn't become a reality at least in my lifetime. I don't think it is similar to IVF. I hope those that enjoy thrillers like this will like to read it.

From the summary, it closes resembles a scientific fictional book; and more often than not, there are moral issues involving some new technological development. While technology is great for development, it must be done within sound principles guiding a society. Sam and the Clone, also portrays a powerful theme: that sometimes when we care, love and protect others dignity, we may actually be saving ourselves also. Thank you for a wonderful review.

"Chloe the Clone" by William E. Mason is a gripping novel that explores morality, survival, and the lengths one will go to protect a loved one. Through seventeen riveting chapters, the story follows Sam Turner and Chloe, a sentient clone, as their growing bond raises profound ethical questions about cloning for organs. Suspenseful and thought-provoking, this thriller is a must-read for fans of thrillers.

Have you heard of the movie "Parts: The Clonus War"? Every time I come across a book about clones and the huge debate therein, I think of this movie. I feel that making friends with one's clone and running from the clone factory/corporation are tropes of this subgenre. I am yet to be put off of such books because I'm still curious about what other tropes will emerge.

I would like to read this book to know why the doctor told Sam Turner to use the clone which is perceived to be illegal. Amazing review!

A suspenseful science fiction novel that explores cloning. It also brings out the debate on the morality of some scientific inventions.

Ever since I watched "The Island" years ago, I have had a very negative view on cloning. The movie left a lasting impression and was quite believable from a psychological point of view on how humans used the technology. This book seems like another prime example of everything that is not right with it, and unfortunately I will have to pass, because I don't like the topic. Still, congratulations on BOTD!

I'm currently reading the book, and I'm rooting for Sam. His dilemma, especially when he is given the clone and considering whether to return the clone or go to Mexico, is the most thrilling part so far. Highly recommend it.
