I really liked how you shared that the book changed your perspective on research, turning it from something tedious into something inspiring. It shows just how impactful the novel was for you, and that added a personal touch to your review that made it even more engaging. Great job!

Thank you for your interesting review. I read the sample and was amazed by how the author wrote so many stories entwined with so much detail in one book. The Flood is a worldwide story that transcends religions and languages. Bringing all the stories together makes a great read.

I didn't really get much about the book from this review. However, I do recall that I've read the sample and was intrigued by the plotline. I wonder if there's a connection between Diokles in 9600 BC and Jared's research on Noah's Flood in 2020. I'll check out this book.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. From sampling it I did find it easy to follow and understand as you had mentioned. The characters were also well developed as you had said. For those who enjoy historical fiction, different timelines, and lengthy books, this sounds like a great choice.

The author presents a masterful blend of historical research and creative storytelling in this literary work. He provides a detailed analysis of global disasters and their impact on human civilization. The focus is on Noah's flood and how it altered the course of humanity. The story begins in 9600 BC with the characters facing a seemingly impossible battle for survival.

Catastrophica begins in 9600 BC, showcasing perseverance through exploration, then shifts to 2020, where Paul Vaughan and his son, Jared, investigate Noah's flood. Daffyd's engaging narrative enhances understanding of both eras, inspiring a newfound appreciation for research.

With its intricate plot, well-developed characters, vivid world-building, and creative storytelling, it makes it a must-read book for me. Congratulations on BOTD!

Catastrophica 1, 2, 3” by Trevor Daffyd provides an eye-opening exploration of global disasters and their impacts on human civilization. The book is a delicate balance between historical fact and fiction. The story begins around 9600 BC when Diokles and his father navigating boats for six months before finding land and this must be after the great flood that destroyed most of early civilization on Earth. The story shifts to 2020 where we meet Paul Vaughn and his son Jared. Jared’s high school history teacher gives the class an assignment that will require at least 5,000 words in a research paper and Jared chooses to investigate Noah’s flood. Jared asks his dad Paul, a history professor, for his feelings about Noah’s flood. Paul asks Jared to research the Bible and other written stories about early civilization and compare what is written about the great flood. This shows Jared that there are different interpretations of history due to the fact that many of the stories were handed down from generation to generation and not actually written for thousands of years. There are many stories in the Bible that historians question their accuracy and the writer's perspectives. I enjoyed the sample and look forward to reading the entire book.

The way 'Catastrophica' weaves together historical research and creative storytelling sound absolutely brilliant. The dual timeline with ancient history and modern-day research is such a unique approach, and I love how the characters feel so well-developed and relatable.

Two different narratives in different timelines discuss the profound impact of floods through various timelines and discuss historical mysteries and theories. The author's extensive knowledge reflects in his storytelling.
