This is a story of life, love and loss. Taking us back to the fun and carefree days of childhood when we were naïve about life and reminding us how soon those days are gone. This lucid and touching novel makes us realize that doing what is right, regardless of the consequences, is the greatest sacrifice of all. Cheryl Kaye Tardif’s unadorned yet expressive dialogue makes us feel like a participant of the story and not merely an onlooker. It shows that our beliefs can sustain us when we need it most. This is definitely a book for readers of all ages.

This book is also excellent reading for young adults.
