Heard of him? Do you like his work? He's one of my favorite authors, wrote books such as The Artemis Fowl Series, The Wishlist, The Supernaturalists, his new book Airman, as well as a moving chapter in the book Click that was created by ten seperate authors that wrote different stories about one man's life. Very moving.
Any comments?

I am indeed an Artemis Fowl fan!
Haven't yet managed to read the other books, but I do love Arty, Butler and Holly. Minerva is growing on me...
I especially enjoy the growth aspect that Colfer has put into Fowl. The connection between experience and morality is wonderfully played, and consequences are actually noted, and learned from, rather than glossed over.
Waiting with baited breath for Time Paradox to hit the shelves!

I know right?!?! I can't wait for The Time Paradox! It sounds really good

Minerva isn't my favorite character either, but she does have that certain "annoying genius" trait that you see in Artemis in the beginning of the first book.
I definately recommend his other books. He actually connects pretty much all he writes to Ireland, whether the story takes place there, or the character is Irish. I think its a really great connection to his past that he wants to share with his readers.
I just started on his new book Airman and so far its a pretty good read, but the plot has yet to thicken sufficiently yet (but I guess that's what comes in the first 2 chapters).
