Review Books That You Read Recently and Get Published

We (OnlineBookClub.org) are accepting book review submissions. That means that if you recently read a book, you can write a review for it and we will publish the review on our site (after editorial approval, of course).
  • -preferably more than 250 words
    -no spoilers
-must be original, not published elsewhere, and not plagiarized
Although we are not hiring writers currently (i.e. there is no financial compensation), the following are the benefits:
  • -full credit to you, the author of the review: Your name will be permanently published with the article on our website. This is especially good for (aspiring) writers trying to build up a portfolio of published work.

-optional author link: This means that if you want we will publish a link with the article. This is good if you are trying to promote a website, sell something, or if you just want interested people to visit a certain web page such as a MySpace page.

-option short author bio: You can also have a short author bio (less than 30 words) at the end of the review. For example, "John Doe works with Company, Inc. as a dog walker. He likes pizza and long walks on the beach."

-Contributor title - I'll add a contributor title to your username in the forums, so it will say "Contributor" under your username where it says "Site admin" under my username.
If you have a submission, please PM it to me, or email it as an attachment (.doc or .txt) to me at scott@scotthughes.biz (or email it to reviews@onlinebookclub.org). Include a link and/or author bio if you want them.

Here's a few samples: Thanks!
