I actually couldn't get through that book and I'm one of those stubborn readers that will try my very best to finish a book no matter how dry it is. That book was way to verbose for me though...

Anyway, Catcher in the Rye maybe because it's introspective to the human spirit and somewhat tragic... not sure cause I never finished it. Sorry!

Well there's a lot of different themes in Dorian Gray. Which ones in particular are you looking for similarities?
