Ava, Frederick's wife, discovers that he has been having an affair with one of his coworkers. Fredrick's reasons for having the affair are unreasonable, and because of this, she decides to divorce him. We also meet Curtis and Bruce in the book. Curtis is a drug lord who is feared by many. Bruce is his cousin, and what's more interesting is that Bruce is a huge football player on his way to becoming a star. As events start to unfold, the lives of these characters are met with family issues, failed drug deals, and career problems, among others. What is more exciting is that we are also introduced to the concept of time travel. There are two major events that all time travellers must be aware of, which are cannon and nexus events. Another interesting thing to know is that you might have time-travelled without even knowing it. To find out more, please grab yourself a copy of the book, Marcus Douglas Presents Echoes of Time by Marcus Douglas.

This book has the most unique narration style I have come across throughout my years of reading books, and I enjoyed it. There are two narrators in the book, which are narrator one and narrator two, and they both tell the story from their perspective. What makes it more fun is that they even interact together and comment on the way they are each narrating the story. Additionally, they involve the reader in their conversations and focus on not making it boring. In simple terms, it was unique, and I enjoyed their interactions.

The storyline was also very interesting and suspenseful. We are introduced to a world of time travel, relationships, betrayal, drugs, and family, among others. Each character had their own story to tell, and the plot of the book kept me on edge. I found myself rooting for most of the characters, and as the suspense built, I was eager to learn more. I also kept asking myself the question of whether time travel was possible. My question was, however, answered towards the end of the book.

The only thing I didn't like is that the book didn't have page numbers, which made it hard to track which page I was on while reading. However, this didn't affect my enjoyment of the book, so I still rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to readers interested in suspenseful books coupled with science fiction because that's what it entails.
