Review of $ivilized Savages
In De'Shea R. Faulk's book $ivilized Savages, Knowledge, a victim of mass incarceration, learns that the US-born descendants of African slaves are the rightful heirs of land in Africa. After coming to this realization, Knowledge made it his mission to gather information and submit a proposal to the African Union and the Institute of The Black World so that they could act on his discovery. However, this plan puts the US economy at risk, and since black people make up the majority of the country's workforce, some worry that it could be the beginning of the country's demise. Those who don't want this knowledge to happen intercept his plan to obtain it. Will the proposal be intercepted or reach the African Union when they convene the following day? Learn more by reading this book.
This book covers a wide range of subjects and themes, including murder, suspense, mass incarceration, and tough love. Everything is there. While reading this novel, we are able to witness an example of tough love between Princess and her boyfriend. Although they were initially profoundly in love, Princess has recently become aloof from her partner's drinking issues. Knowledge is the creator of the strategy to assist descendants of African slaves in obtaining their just compensation as victims of mass incarceration. The voyage of Knowledge's message to the African Union is followed in this exciting and adventurous book. I was captivated by it from beginning to end and found it to be an engaging read. I couldn't find a single section of the book that I didn't comprehend because the author did such a fantastic job of explaining everything in great depth. I particularly liked how the author described every sexual moment in the novel in a straightforward and honest manner. I was grateful for that.
This novel is not appropriate for young readers due to its extensive sexual material and profanity. Additionally, there are a few mistakes in it that can be readily corrected with good editing. Overall, I had fun reading this book and following the plot. I think this is just the beginning of the book, and I look forward to reading more by this author. I give this book five out of five ratings because, as I've already mentioned, it was an interesting read, and I'd suggest it to readers who like mysteries and thrilling adventures, as well as those who prefer black-oriented literature. If you want to snuggle up with a good book and pass the time, For you, this is the one.
