[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "The Divine Irony Book 1: Pandora" by Demetre Jasmin.]
๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ท๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐บ ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฌ 1: ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ข by Demetre Jasmin is a thrilling novel that takes the reader on a rollercoaster of events in the otherworld as faced by Trent and his friend Alex. The book highlights several topics like sin, vengeance, pursuit for life, horror, and despair.
The book begins with Trent and Alex in a confrontation in a desert awaiting the arrival of someone. The appearance of Ramon, whom Trent owed some debts, cut short their confrontation. Trent was doing drug business with Ramon. Ramon accused Trent of planning to escape without paying him. He pulled a gunshot that reverberated through the souls of Trent and Alex. This marked the end of one of their lives and the beginning of the other.
ย Trent and Alex found themselves outside the office of Archangel Apollyon, the dean of Eden University, in the fall. Apollyon first attempted to kill Trent, but Belphegor told him not to do it now. Apollyon promised to resurrect Trent and Alex on the condition that they attend school at Eden University. Trent and his friend Alex mutually accepted the offer and will be going to explore the uncertain adventure in the promised new beginning. Eden University seemed to present both promises and perils that were beyond Alex and Trent's understanding.ย
How will the adventure in Eden University turn out? Will Alex and Trent endure the tests and make it to their salvation? Grab a copy of this book to find out.
I loved reading this book. Demetre Jasmin has skillfully written it in a way that it holds the reader's attention from the beginning to the end. I was so curious to follow up on the adventure at Eden University. The author used similes and word expressions to spice up the story and make it entertaining. The author started each chapter with a poem to hint to the reader on what is coming up. The whole book was captivating.ย I also loved the characters featured in the book. Alex, Trent, Belphegor, and Apollyon perfectly fit their roles.ย
I did not dislike any section of this book. I found the book captivating from the beginning to the end.
ย I give this book a ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ stars rating. The editors professionally edited this book. I encountered only one grammar error, which could not make me deduct a star from this book. I recommend this book to people who like fictional novels. They will find the story entertaining. I anxiously look forward to Book 2.
