I love the book and enjoy it till the end, but the author's haste to conclude the book towards the ending seems too obvious.

I was expecting that the characters would do some retrospection of incidents in their lives to fill the need for the backstory, but there was only minimal, if at all. I just opine, this sort of situation could be the author's way of making the readers curious enough to search out the missing pieces in the previous books.

After reading the the book, it felt like, "a person opening Christmas gifts on 25th" . The author simply didn't invest plenty of time in concluding the book.

It definitely left a lot of space for the next book in the series.

I thought that the kidnapping was a bit contrived, but otherwise, I was fine with the ending. I imagine that there will be more revealed in a forthcoming book.

I was okay with the ending. I do feel the door is definitely open for another book. I would like to know more about her mother and why she left. I can't imagine a mother abandoning her daughter unless it was something detrimental to her daughter.

I was a bit disappointed with the ending. It felt like Hillary was asking the same questions that had bothered her at the beginning of the book. Why did her mother abandon her? How could she learn to forgive her? She admired Claire's mature and selfless attitude of donating her hair for cancer patients. It appeared that she, too, was willing to adopt a more mature perspective; but the true history of her mother's actions remained unresolved.

I agree it was predictable. Also, I am torn between liking that aspect and not liking it. One on hand you want the expected ending to happen. Then again, do you?

The book was such an interesting and engaging one, though the author seems to be in a hurry to conclude the story towards the ending, But the author as done a great job.

I think we'll get more to why Hillary's mother left in another book. The theme park and Dermot's story wrapped up pretty softly and quickly. I feel like there should have been a larger impact on those two themes.

Everything was wrapped up fairly quickly. However, the ending was definitely the most intriguing part of the story. For that reason, I enjoyed it.

Honestly the ending felt a little rushed to me. The writer did wrap up most of the subplots but not as satisfying as I would have wanted as the reader. I felt like the ending was definitely missing something important that would have made the book an over the top genius piece of writing.

All great and valid questions I think author left to answer in her next book.

Would you be interested in reading the next book because of how this one ended?

The book's ending was, like the book generally, kind of rushed. Just generally not as satisfying as the first two Brooke books.
