Abuse/overemphasis of the grace of God by the Author?

It is God's grace that inspires us to "carry our cross." Not to say that people get this right all the time, because we don't. The fact that we don't highlights His grace even more. The author does a good job of explaining this by pointing to all of the good that the people are doing after their crisis.

I disagree with saying that the author overemphasized the grace of God. I'm sure that the topic of this book is God's grace itself. I don't know how you can abuse that if it is specifically the subject of the book.

I believe that this is a very subjective comment. Everyone interprets religion in their own ways. However, as the book is about God's Grace, I do not think the author overemphasized it. The author was telling other people's experiences with the grace of god, and how it saved them.

I don't think the author over emphasized on Grace. He is wrote this book based on his own knowledge and how he sees it from his own angle. We all have experienced things more differently than the other,in his case grace has been his key way of survival.

I wholeheartedly agree, I don't think one can exaggerate the magnitude of grace when it goes beyond what the entire humanity put together could have done on their own. That being said, I also believe it is worth mentioning that it is by no means a license to sin, and I think the author was spot on explaining that as well.

I don't think there is any overemphasis on the subject. Readers practising same religion as the author will relate more to his views though. They are his opinions too.Lets not forget that.

I think that the while to some it might come off like that, the whole point of the book was the grace of God so it made sense for it to be emphasized upon.

Grace is different from luck. The improbability of the event makes the grace out of it. The author is still right on track.

Exactly! I think this forum’s question seemed a little dubious of this fact, but I wholeheartedly agree with you. This story is evidence that emphasis on the grace of God is the most valuable thing a Christian could ever receive.

I support the fact that the book revolves around the same topic that it is titles i.e "God:s Grace". Always remember that grace is a gift and we can never get enough of it.
