As someone who struggles with anxiety, I found Steve's story very relatable. I feel for him and his fight. The way he sees the pain and not a bigger picture are especially relatable. Reading about someone else experience was very overwhelming. The way he feels emotional and physical pain simultaneously. I guess when we share our troubles and see we are not alone the burden of life is so much easier to carry.
There are a lot of stories with the loss of loved ones and abuse. Those are the ones that I find very emotional to read about.
Did any of the stories help you view your life differently? Any personal experiences like the ones shared in this book? Was this book inspirational for you?
