I'd say both. It's religious because readers need to know the Bible stories before they can understand this book. And there are fictional elements (as in the author's own imagination and interpretation) in it.

It's both. The book covers almost every story of the Bible but they all appeared to be fiction and the author's own perspectives towards the bible.

A religious book would imply that you accept its words as truth and have built a faith based on its teachings. However, as a writing major, we are taught that you don't have to do such a thing when it comes to books of any kind; even if the said book was the Bible itself. You can view the Bible simply as a historical account without subscribing to the Christian faith, you can view it as pure fiction, or even historical fiction which is a fictional story set under the premise of actual historical events. It all depends on the reader's way of interpreting the text. The same goes for Michael Tieman's "Killing Abel".

It is a religious book in my opinion.
The book includes stories from Bible and is also having verses from Bible.
Ofcourse there are stories but all of religious basis.

This book is a religious one. It is no work of fiction. It is suitable for children and adults alike. However when writing a religious book, heresies should be avoided, like the concept of depicting God as less than Omniscient.

Personally, I find it fictional and I won't recommend it to children or people who don't know the contents of the Bible. As a Christian I found the storyline somewhat unacceptable because the author made several reference to Bible passages that could mislead the reader into believing that what happened was actually what happened in the Bible.

I believe the book is both fictional and religious. While it may be difficult to find someone who has not read the Bible, or at least, heard about a little of it, they can still read it, including children. This may even make them to be curious enough to read the Bible itself.

I believe it is fiction based on the religious tex of the Bible. I see no reason why the stories in this book shouldn't be read by children, or others, not familiar with the original text. It's no different from a Sunday School teacher elaborating on a Bible story to bring the story to life for their students.

This is a religious book that has fictional touch. It is religious due to addition of bible verses in it.
