Is Zona believable?

Unless a reader decides to do an effort to find the graphical location, I don't find Zona believable. The author gives very brief information and there are many gaps in the setting of the plot. If he had taken a few more pages to set his premise, Zona would be believable.

I agree with you that the book has a very slow start . I think this was a way to capture the readers mind in anticipation, for the main action of the book. Obviously the book is a fiction so I wouldn't want to say that a place like zona exist.

I didn't focus on it being believable or not, I just enjoyed that it was described as being a fantasy novel with so much mystery around it.

I do feel that it is believable. The aspect of it having wild animals and wild plants. But the mystery and fantasy aspect of Zona is not something that can be explained.

I feel like the author could've described Zona better. There are things we don't know about why it's forbidden and where it is on the map. The writer could've painted a clearer picture to get readers more interested.
