I love that Coupe and Cooper seem to be both mirrors and foils for one another. Given the similarities in their names and Cooper's ability to read minds but supposedly not being able to speak, I think it would be such a great twist if they turned out to actually be the same person. I am very excited to read this for myself. Thanks for a great review!

Twylla wrote: 07 Dec 2020, 15:16 I enjoyed the review more than the book. Beautiful job. I just couldn't connect with the characters. Maybe the pace was too slow. The premise behind the plot (characters with telekinetic powers for example) is a good one, but the story didn't spark in my head.
I hate it when that happens!

There seems to be a very positive message this book is conveying to readers so I am looking forward to digging into this book to find out how special the bond between two extraordinary people named Cooper and Coupe. Friendship and family themes in a novel are very timely in these uncertain times so I commend the author for his bringing this novel now. Congrats!

The author does a wonderful job fleshing out what makes teenage boys act and react. I loved the sample so much that I purchased the book on Amazon! Thanks for giving me the heads-up, OnlineBookClub!

I'll be honest, reading the Amazon blurb of "Coupe" and "Cooper" didn't impress me as naming characters too similarly is often a mark of an inexperienced writer. Your glowing description of the book ("enthralling;" "amazing") interests me, however. Glad to hear it is developed and written so well. I'll take a longer look at it.

This book sounds gripping mainly because it mixes science fiction with humor. I also enjoyed the fact that you talked that this book brings the aspect of humanity's brutality, which reminds me of dystopian novels. However, I don't know if this book is for me since it has a lot of descriptions of molestation and abuse. Thanks for the informative review! Great job!

Not my genre and not my topic. I am sorry to say that despite how good this book is portrayed in review there is nothing which appeal to my tastes. Social issues, superpowers and fantasy are all totally not my cup of tea. Sorry and congrats with BOTD!

Cooper Callister and Coupe Daschelete are such an uncommon combination of strength and wit's. They can sumount any obstacle together. I'll love to read this. Thanks for the review.

What a review! I came here curious and I leave here eager! I like any form of art which inspires questioning of moral issues. It also sounds like there's a strong psychological element here. And it sounds like my favourite topics to ponder upon are put together by a talented writer!

Thank you for such an inspired and inviting review! This one is going right to the top of my list :)

This book is like a spoof off of the "X-Men" movie series. Because of the "X-Men," this book has my attention and is very interesting.

I have to say that the characters really pique my interest about this book. I'm curious to learn more about them so I think that I'm going to put this book on my to-be-read shelf and check out a few pages and see where it takes me. Thanks for the interesting review.

Interesting plot and an unseemingly unlikely friendship drawn together by fate. However, this is not the book for me due to molestation, vulgar language as well as genre.
