From the review, this book is about adventure, action, magic and comedy. Eric was sorrowful because his fiancée dumped him. The contents of the book will appeal to readers of this genre of books. Congrats on the BOTD and a satisfactory review.

I learned from this review that actions have consequences. "Nightlord: Sunset" by Garon Whited is an interesting story of how Eric turned into a vampire. I Will consider reading.

Great review of "Nightlord: Sunset" by Garon White!
An interesting twist on how vampires “live” and a heroes journey are enough to make this action-packed fantasy a must read. Our hero, Eric, is a regular guy one day and a vampire the next and then the sworn enemy of a powerful entity in another dimension. Who needs movies or TV when you can read this first volume in an exciting series?
If you're going through hell, keep going.

Your description of the unique take on vampires in the book, focusing on their role as Grim Reapers, adds depth to the supernatural elements. Your insights into the identity issues and moral dilemmas faced by Eric are intriguing. Congrats on BOTD!

For me, there's always something new to love when legendary creatures are brought into adventure or action stories; there's always a way to make them feel more like part of our world.
Excellent, in-depth review that piqued my interest in this story.

Nightlord: Sunset by Garon Whited sounds enchanting. I would love to read the book and find out what happens to Eric when he turned to alcohol after being heart broken and later woke up in a different place where he was turned into a vampire.

Nice! A "real" world of magic and fantasy in the imagination. I do not like much horror stories. But I do enjoy them still. Vampire stories are stories that in addition to being a horror story in my book trigger something in me that I find disturbing or sometimes even unacceptable. I think the review nailed it completely by using the phrase "crisis of conscience". I could not digest that the hero doing good deeds is intrinsically a horrible evil. Nevertheless, I am convinced that it is s good book worthy of reading and rereading.

This sounds intriguing and different to your usual Vampire fantasy novels. Vampires that don't drink blood and that have a heart beat? Definitely something that I have to read. Thanks for a detailed review. This really sounds like an exciting read.

Nightlord: Sunset's plot is pretty interesting. I don't think I have ever read a book or watched a show where a vampire can perform magic, so that's new and interesting, and there's another dimension you mention; I'm definitely adding it to my TBR now, and I hope to read it soon.

The book appears captivating after the comprehensive review by the reviewer. It seamlessly weaves together a multitude of elements, including magic, science, vampires, and the consequences of cutting-edge weaponry and technology. The witty descriptions infuse the story with both humour and fascination.

Ironically, the review made me want to read it less than the sample did - which, I suppose, is the job of a fair and accurate review. Reading the sample, I was intrigued by the concept of a scientific and rational explanation for vampires, but reading the review, I can tell that's just the initial tease, and soon it will sink into the usual supernatural nonsense.

I'd love to read a novel with a science-based and completely rational storyline. One where no one, "accidently opens a magical portal to their world, ...[develops] natural abilities to wield magic, ...[finds] a golem horse called Bronze, and a sword called Firebrand, or fights a dragon, battles armies, and eventually confronts the Church of Light."

One written for those of us who like our fantasies to at least be somewhat plausible.

The book seems to have an interesting storyline. However, unfortunately, I don’t enjoy reading fantasy much. I hope it finds its audience and is appreciated by them! Congrats on the BOTD!
