I can't even begin to imagine what Eric had to deal with. Becoming a vampire without your consent. This makes for an intriguing drama.

Thanks for a beautiful review of "Nightlord: Sunset" by Garon Whited. Your statement that "The strongest message I took from the book was not allowing what you are to define who you are" made me conclude that Eric got revenge without losing himself in the process. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

"Nightlord: Sunset" by Garon Whited, a book that features fantasy, adventures, and magic. It will be enthralling to find out how the main character was transformed into a vampire. This is an inreresting book to read.

This was a well written review and actually made me very interested in reading the full book. With an eye catching cover and title, this book has certainly grabbed my attention, even though the vampire genre is quite saturated I feel like this book could be a fresh take on the genre and offer a breath of fresh air. It sounds like the author's take on vampires is quite unique, and therefore will draw new readers to this series who might be tired of the same old vampire tropes.

Sometimes if you're facing any problem or challenges of any kind it's vital to not let circumstances that you find yourself in, to control you or to take decision influenced by this situation you find yourself, you must take all decisions because they are important. We saw this from the review as Eric was devastated after he found himself abondened by his fiancee and he didn't stand up for himself when times are tough but he let the situations he found himself in to control him and take decision influenced by this situation, this made him to end up doing bad thing's like changed himself from normal person to a vampire behaviour.

Thank you for the review! I already have a copy of this book and will check it out soon. It sounds like Eric is a "good" vampire. Now for the adventure…

First of all, I must agree with you that Whited's take on vampires is indeed refreshing. What my thought was was that they were a cross between the Grim Reaper and zombies because they help people cross over into death and they are walking dead at night. Another thing I appreciated was that the MC's character development did not mean an altered personality. Many times this is the case, whether or not it's a story that involves vampires. It does not mean growth, people! Finally, I find it impressive to get so much world-building through in diary format! My only question is, what didn't you like about the book?
The power to say, ‘This is who I am & I expect that your respect for me will define your support of me,’ is something people with disabilities have longed to say.”

Hi @Prudence Emillian. I just read your comments on the official review of "Nightlord: Sunset" and I was disappointed you did not give details that would prove you read the sample and official review. For example, "Nightlord: Sunset" by Garon Whited is book 1 of a 3-part series about an exciting fantasy quest. This book includes 680 pages of action, magic and comedy. The main character is Eric who was dumped by his fiancé and he ends up drowning his sorrows in alcohol. When he wakens the next day, he is in a beautiful stranger’s bed and he learns that he has been changed into a vampire without his consent and he also inherited enemies called the Church of Light from a different dimension. A close friend of his is murdered and he seeks revenge on the Church of Light and by chance he opens a magical portal to their world. Eric’s natural abilities to use magic grow quickly and he gains new friends. He ends up fighting a dragon, battles armies and eventually finds and confronts the Church of Light. Eric becomes a hero after his battlefield achievements. The author developed each character and the story telling flows really well. Vampires are not possessed by demons but they ease a person who is dying and then absorb their life spark. Eric is alive during the day with a beating heart but at night he dies and wanders about as a corpse. He seeks blood because he needs it to survive. The book has an unusual twist on vampires, morality, education, freedom and medicine. This is an epic adventure fantasy that should be enjoyed by most OBC members. The sample is excellent and it motivated me to add this book to my to-read shelf. One unique feature of this story is if one reads it more than once they may learn something different each time. The book deserves the 4 out of 4-star rating and I look forward to the next two books in the series. @Mrlefty0706
