Adding to the 1,000 pages are extras, including Hubbard's very long introduction, an interview with him, and lyrics to songs he wrote to go along with the book. To readers concerned about whether or not Scientology plays a part in the plot, it does not. However, there are questions and answers about it at the end of the book. There is also an opportunity to receive a free ebook that gives more information about the Battlefield Earth characters.

That's me. I hear L. Ron Hubbard and think of Scientology. It's too bad that what seems like a great piece of sci-fi gets obscured by the author's reputation as a cult leader. Thank you for your review.

An Elaborative review of Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard, nicely crafted as it does concisely portrays author's creativity. I find the incorporation of the free e-book that gives more information about the Battlefield Earth characters to be interesting. Thank you for the great review!

"Battlefield Earth" by L. Ron Hubbard is a lengthy science-fiction epic where humanity battles alien oppressors. Spanning 1,000 pages, it blends action, hard science fiction, and extras like interviews and songs, offering an engaging yet potentially overwhelming reading experience. Congrats on being BOTD!

As highlighted in the review, it is highly difficult to maintain the reader’s attention and interest piqued throughout 1000 pages. Here the author manages this. This science fiction is compelling and unique.

Is this a science-fiction classic from 40-plus years ago? How interesting! I rarely read books that have more than 500 pages. But this will have to be one of them.

I love fiction, but this review has intrigued me even more. I look forward to meeting Jonnie Goodboy and enjoying all the adventures in this book. I also love books with surprises and twisted plotlines because they keep me hooked and entertained. I am going to read this one to the end.

'Our hero is Jonnie Goodboy Tyler, born in Colorado nearly 1,000 years after the people of Earth have been decimated by an alien race called the Psychlos. The Psychlos still inhabit Earth, mining it for its metals and minerals.'
This sci-fi is interesting.

Editing a one-thousand-page book cannot be easy; I applaud the editing team for doing a great job on this. Even though the book was written some time ago, it is still a great science fiction read in its newest edition. Thanks for the review!

Wow. That's a lot of pages. The book is well crafted with cliffhangers and intrigue. Recommended for fans of classic hero action-packed novel with twists and turns. I am down for fast-paced books, but I usually prefer shorter ones. Thank you for your enthusiastic review.

This is a well-written review addressing many aspects of the story itself as well as the author. The recommended readers section was especially thorough. The reviewer's enjoyment of the book was made clear. Although science-fiction is not a genre I tend to read, this review made the book sound exciting and enjoyable to me.

Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard is a hard science fiction book with multi-layered characters, in a race called the Psychlos. The Psychlos mining and making credits that still inhabit Earth, mining it for its metals and minerals. They send the bounty across 16 universes as part of the work of the Intergalactic Mining Company—a great Read for adventure mindsets.

Great Review of Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 by L. Ron Hubbard.
I'm planning to read this epic novel.
What a fantastic Classic sci-fi novel.
Outstanding world-building with all the elements of exciting sci-fi -- technology, a hero's epic journey, a quest, action, adventure, and aliens.
Irresistible!
Thank you for your great review!

This book can make a really interesting movie. The idea of alien species enslaving us seems unreal but it definitely would be a really bad thing if it happens.
Thanks for the engaging review!

I wonder if Jonnie and his friends will be able to free Earth from the shackles of the Psychlos. I hardly read old-school sci-fis, but I am intrigued by this one, so I'll probably give it a try.

Thank you for the amazing review. It put my thoughts in concrete for wanting to give this a read. My interests definitely span over multiple genres, and I'm always down for a good alien book. Can't wait to read it and see how it ends for our hero!
