I love books that gives the readers a new perspective or possibilities on things that we probably would never thought of if not because of the book. From the review, this book sounds like one of them. I'm intrigued to know what this book has to offer.

A wonderful science fiction story which leaves a very thin line between reality and fiction can be found in the book "Genes of the Past" by Christer Jansson. The book tries to tell us something happening in the modern world that we do not.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Today's BOTD is a scifi novel that draws awareness to dangers of human engineering, as well as the possibilities. Although this isn't the book for me, readers of the genre will find this book interesting and engaging, while giving them some big ideas to ponder long after the last page! Great review...thanks! :-)

I enjoy sci-fi/fantasies, so I may like Genes of the Past by Christer Jansson. I wonder what the superpower is and how Symphony fits into the story.

Sci-fi lovers will appreciate the author's scientific background and intriguing plot. Human engineering can be beneficial, but what happens when it no longer is? Thanks for the great review!

The narrative "Genes of the Past" by Christer Jansson follows Symphony, a brilliant scientist investigating the discovery of a hominin fossil. This fossil holds proteins of unknown function, sparking the possibility of human superpowers. This revelation will surely excite and intrigue readers as they reflect on how well-intentioned human engineering technology can create chaos in the world. Thanks for a great review.

Thank you for a very enjoyable review of Genes of the Past by Christer Jansson.
Reading through the sample pages of this sci-fi & fantasy novel, I liked the narrative style, the sense of humor, and certainly, the intriguing vegan recipes.
And turning to more serious matters: a thought-provoking storyline of the fascinating and startling discovery of the hominin fossil with distinctly different olfactory organs.
I am planning to read Genes of the Past.

Congrats on BOTD!

This sounds very interesting.

This book is about the discovery of a hominin fossil which reveals proteins of unknown functions. This in turn leads a scientist to believe that humans had a different means of communication in the past, which could be considered a superpower today. Even though I'm not a 'sciency' person, I must say that "Genes of The Past" sounds like a gripping page-turner, which would have me excited to read more. Congratulations on BOTD.
