I like how the book just jumps straight into the action. After reading the sample I'm hooked and I think I just added another book to my TBR pile but happily :)

"This is Thomas. Thomas will be dead in forty-eight minutes, twenty-six seconds, but for now he’s just tired." Wow! A stunning opening for a novel. Readers are going to be glued to know how death can be predicted in such a formal tone. "Ultimatum" By Vladimir Fleurisma is going to fascinate you in too many ways. A sci-fi, set at the dystopian backdrop of nuclear war this novel has diversified perspectives to offer its reader. The review adds relish to my interest. And I scoop up the book in Kindle Unlimited. Thank for this zestful review.

Action, suspense and humor...set in a futuristic near-apocalyptic earth...with predators, virus and nuclear radiations. Sounds like this book has it all. I just hope there are no too graphic depictions of killings, that is a deal-breaker for me. Thanks for the review.

I have just started reading this book and already I feel a sense of eagerness to dive deeper into the man-made worldwide catastrophe that is described within its pages. The main character has already piqued my interest and I am eager to learn more about his journey. In particular, I am curious to understand how the Three Mile Island is connected to the story. Thanks for your review!

A failed research experiment that produced animals with deformities. Will D be able to reach Three Mile Island in the bitter weather will make for an exciting read. Your evaluation is intriguing. I'm about to preview a couple pages. Congrats on  the BOTD

"Ultimatum" is a pulse-pounding tale of survival, ambition, and the struggle for supremacy in a world brought to its knees. D's relentless determination and the constant threat of the mutated apex creature keep readers on the edge of their seats throughout. Fleurisma's writing is sharp and evocative, creating a vivid and hauntingly beautiful wasteland. It's a great review and a must read.

The review shows believable characters as the fight for survival continues in this sci-fi. So far this is fast-paced with learning that this is a 50-year war against creatures of varying abilities. Unveiling knowledge as we go keeps me interested in the flight, and survival, and hides the culmination of the conflict. Should be a great read. Thanks for the review!

A near apocalyptic event has left a world populated with mutants and people suffering from radiation sickness. I would rather read about a better future, so I'll give this one a miss. Thank you for the great review.

The book sounds really exciting and action-packed with all those mutants, virus, war and nuclear fire which will be interesting to read about. Besides the description of the book as "the love child of Mad Max, Jurassic Park, and Ready Player One" is intriguing. i can't wait to read this book and figure everything out. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Apocaliptic novels are so bone-chilling. Their deception of a global disaster aftermath is so thrilling. However, I like them because of the mysteries the protagonists are assigned to expose. I guess this book's plot is also worth it because of the perfect rating.

Ultimatum" by Vladimir Jepthe Fleurisma based on the provided information.

Genre Fusion: The book appears to be a fusion of multiple genres, including dystopian science fiction, post-apocalyptic, gaming, and creature feature. This genre-blending can make the story unique and appeal to a broader range of readers.

World-Building: Fleurisma's talent in crafting a vivid and cinematic landscape is crucial for immersing readers in the story's setting. Effective world-building is essential in dystopian and science fiction narratives to make the fictional world feel real and believable.

Character Development: The mention of the well-developed protagonist, D, and the surrounding characters, such as Zach and Cella, indicates a focus on character depth. Strong character development allows readers to connect with the cast and become emotionally invested in their journeys.

Narrative Style: The description of a "deadpan narrative" suggests a unique and possibly unconventional storytelling style. Such a narrative approach can add depth and humor to the story, enhancing the overall reading experience.

Themes and Symbolism: Given the dystopian and science fiction elements, "Ultimatum" likely explores themes such as survival, the consequences of scientific experiments gone wrong, and the struggle for control in a post-apocalyptic world. The genetically modified and mutated creatures could symbolize the unintended consequences of human actions.

Potential for Expansion: The mention of multiple ways the story could evolve, including the possibility of a prequel or follow-up, highlights the depth of the fictional universe Fleurisma has created. This suggests that the author has created a rich and expansive world with room for further exploration.

Influences: Comparing the book to works like "Mad Max," "Jurassic Park," and "Ready Player One" provides readers with a frame of reference and hints at the kind of tone, action, and adventure they can expect.

Overall, "Ultimatum" seems to be a compelling and ambitious work that combines various elements to create a unique and immersive reading experience. It explores both the external challenges of a post-catastrophe world and the internal struggles and relationships of its diverse cast of characters. It'll be interesting to see how the author further develops this world and its narrative in potential prequels or sequels.

A dystopian science fiction novel "Ultimatum" by Vladimir fleurisma, which tells us that the most valuable natural resources have been destroyed and a big failed science experiment has resulted in a plague. This is an entertaining book to read.
