As a lover of romance and fantasy, this book is just the perfect pick for me. Blending its plot with a bit of murder mystery further underscores the author's writing prowess. This is an excellent recommendation.

No Rest for the Innocent by M.D. Sanders takes readers on a thrilling journey through the dark and captivating world of Victorian fantasy. Francesca, tragically framed and executed on her wedding day, awakens after a decade to seek justice against those who wronged her. What could have been a peaceful afterlife turns into a quest fueled by necromancy, romance, and relentless vengeance.

As a fan of fantasy, I was immediately drawn to this book, and it did not disappoint. Sanders masterfully weaves a tale that is both emotionally charged and richly imaginative, blending elements of the supernatural with a gripping plot. The characters are vividly portrayed, and I found myself fully invested in their fates, particularly Francesca's journey from despair to empowerment.

The writing is both elegant and engaging, with the author skillfully wrapping up the story in a way that leaves you satisfied yet eager for more.
This novel is an absolute must-read for mature fans of fantasy. It's a dark, thrilling ride that delivers on every level, from its intriguing plot to its unforgettable characters.

An interesting fantasy novel. Francesca is killed on her wedding day after being framed for treason. Years later she was rudely reawakened by a necrotist. A very interesting opening. My only annoyance was the overuse of ellipses mid-sentence and colons at the end of paragraphs.

'It was especially difficult for Francesca, who was framed for the murder of a queen and executed on the day of her wedding.'
Revenge stories carry some thrill, but one being done by a ghost is uniquely intriguing.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy was never my cup of tea, but fortunately my daughter is a huge fan, and I am always on the lookout for quality books, trying to nurture a good taste in literature in her. This book sounds very good, the Victorian era was mysterious as it is, so adding a bit of supernatural twist to a basically crime thriller won't spoil the atmosphere. Congrats with BOTD!

This book is enthralling! I found this hard to put down, it can be read in one sitting. Lady Francesca is both charming and powerful, willful but not annoying. She is a true heroine. I would recommend this to imaginative young adults who love playing dress-up with friends.
