Yes, true there are limits to what natural remedies can do. When the stress is short term natural remedies can do a better job if we are regular in it. Even if we do not have stress, natural remedies like meditation or exercise is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.

I think natural remedies can replace medication completely only if they were put in place before the conditions got worse. Lifestyle adjustments and proper management of stress and anxiety can eliminate the need to use medication.

It depends of many things. Natural healing is a process, as having a weak, sick body is also. A person that constantly abuse his body may not support the time and discipline that certain practices require. I, for exemple, never take medicine for a fever in he first day, unless it is too strong and I have a task to acomplish. But if I can stay at home, I always give my body 24 hours to heal itself. So far I have seen miracles in me. Of course I don't recommend this, you body can be in a weak condition and it would be dangerous.

I think it's better to say that traditional medicines don't substitute natural methods. I agree that they complement each other and must be applied simultaneously for the best results. The same can be seen in cases like hypertension; if you take your medication religiously without lifestyle and diet adjustments and cardiac exercises, it won't make much of a difference compared to when you apply both. The same is applicable here.

I think it's always best to go the natural way. They teach the body to cope and adjust without the use of chemicals associated with medicines. However, since nothing is 100%, the medicines are always a better option for extreme cases of anxiety and related disorders. So, they are a contingency plan.

I think the choice of whether to opt for traditional or modern medicine depends a lot on a person's beliefs. I always start with traditional options. When that doesn't work I take medicine. I don't think either option will completely take over going forward.

Which natural options cannot totally substitute medications, they would definitely help to make a better, more healthy life. For example, constant exercise can help you to feel energetic and healthier; drinking enough water can help keep certain illnesses away.
All in all, I think that natural options are merely precautionary. But say, enough water and healthy eating cannot totally cure cancer or something more serious. They can only help manage it.

According to me, natural remedies are the best to cure anxiety and stress. They come with no side effects and constant supervision is not required.

It probaby depends on the level of stress (or just in general, the level of the problem). Sometimes natural remedies are quite helpful and there's no need of trying traditional medicine. In other instances, the problem could be way worse and only proper medication could help.

To a certain level they can help although the two can be used to compliment each other

You are so right. But that is from a perspective of today's mental health treatments. I look back on a half century of poor, ineffective, and downright dangerous ways to self-medicate. And to be medicated by doctors who used to say, "we will try this." The diagnosis followed whether or not the drug worked ( if x med for schitzophrenia worked, you must be schitzophrenic.) And mental health labeling caused serious problems with getting work, licenses, custody of children. But this is not the 60s anymore.

Natural methods are effective and helpful, but one cannot avoid medications if the problem is serious. Not all stress problems can be solved through natural methods like meditation.

I think natural methods (exercise, meditation) need to be practiced for a certain period of time before they can become effective - it takes time to get used to them and figure out what works for the individual. If someone is facing serious anxiety, telling them to learn a new method to calm down feels counterintuitive. Because of this, I feel that natural methods and medication are more complementary than anything else.

Sometimes, the stress an individual may be feeling can be overwhelming that the natural remedies won't do much good. In that case, medication will be inevitably needed. So, I do not think the natural methods can substitute the conventional use of medicaments. Instead, they will continue to complement each other.

Now, for me, I consider that we need to find out the cause of such a condition. When a natural factor causes anxiety, then natural solutions can be preferred. Over-working one's self creates some anxiety situations. In such circumstances, the victim needs rest, not medication.
