What do you think about the title of the book?

The story is woven around three female characters and their lives. Yet, the book is named by the name of the youngest protagonist, Kalayla.

Why is that? Is it appropriate? Do you have any suggestions for alternative titles?

Since Kalayla is really the one who tied all three women together, I think it is appropriate that it would be her name for a title.

I think the title is suitable for the book. Although it might also be something like 'Family Ties' ๐Ÿ˜„.
Kalayla is just okay.

Yes, she was the youngest and the elder females were responsible for her future, and had to act accordingly

Kalayla is just okay.
"Family ties" is a good alternative, but it will cut down the uniqueness of the book which is given by the current title

Yeah, I agree with you. Besides, I doubt 'Family Ties' would encompass all the elements of this book.

You are correct. The book covers a lot of area which includes family matters as well as matters outside the family. So such a title will narrow down the actual scope of the book

I believe Kayala's essence is captured the most in the book and that she has connections with the rest. The book surely revolves around all three but I think Kayala has the most part.

I think the title of the book is suitable. To me, 'Kalayla' is more intriguing than 'family ties'.

I think the name is perfect. Her name is unique, and therefore can draw many in just from curiosity. Also, Kalayla is the center figure of the three womens' dynamic, so naming the book after her is appropriate.

I think Kalayla is a beautiful and unique name, so it is definitely eye catching to a reader. I also think she is the bridge between the three characters, so I am happy with the choice of the novelโ€™s name.

The innocence and the care-free nature of the little girl inevitability takes all the attention, and in that mean it is reasonable to give the book her name as the title

I believe it is appropriate, since the eleven-year-old is the youngest and the common factor between the other two ladies. Additionally, she is also the one who has gone through alot in a short period of time time and still has a alot of room to turn her life around. She is also both mature but still has a child side, basically she is the most profound of the three.

Yes, she is the centre of the dynamics of those three women. Yet there were two other protagonists as well as some other (less important) characters. Could it had a better name than the name of one of its protagonists?

It is intriguing, agreed. But should a title has to be intriguing? Should it not give some sort of insight for the book? In that aspect, 'family ties' could have been a better alternative. What do you think?
