Wow. Very suspenseful! I don't know what would I do if I was Jack. Could he survive, tho? Anyway, thank you for an honest review.

Jack became engaged in a complicated situation he least expected. So sad that Bev died, I hope Jack survives this.

I am a crime and thriller fan, and this book seems to be a well-written nail-biter. I'm looking forward to finding out if Jack managed to escape the crime gangs and what happened to the diamonds. Thanks for this well-detailed review!

This story is one that got me thinking about why was Bev killed. And for Jack to escape this crime boss, since he has in his possession the diamond would be difficult. Nice review I must say.

This review of "Devil's Ice" by Jefferson Thomas is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the book fast-paced action and suspenseful plot. The reviewer particularly enjoyed the omniscient perspective and the insight into both the protagonist and antagonist's plans. While there were some minor issues with the dialogue and chapter length, the reviewer ultimately gave the book a full rating of 4 out of 4 and recommends it to fans of adventure, action thrillers, and suspense.

Huh...why would Bev end like that. I am sure the book is interesting. I give kudos to the writer, the writer made it known that according to author, this is his first book. The title is captivating, I wondered what the book would entailed before reading the review.

An ex football player hero down before he gets to the pro's, then in a dead end job before 30. Does nothing for you/ The excellent review and the sample draw you into suspense, murder and questions, especially on staying alive for Jack. Excellent review for a first novel winner, Devil's Ice.

I agree with you that the title of this book gets one curious and interested to read it: what could be the "Devil's ice?" The suspense you mentioned about this book is what I cherish most. So this would keep me around as I read on to know what happens to Jack.

'Official Review: Devil's Eye' by Jefferson Thomas is a vivid and fanciful description of the fictional action thriller for readers. It mentions all the minute details related to the book for keen readers. The point that the book centers around Jack and his travails when he picks up diamonds belonging to the Chicago crime boss is worth mentioning in the book. Also, the point that the book was written from an omniscient perspective, giving the audience a broad overview of activities as they occurred in the story. Nice to learn that the plot of the story was fascinating and captivating!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller story following Jack, who finds a box of diamonds belonging to a local crime boss that will stop at nothing to retrieve his property, who must figure out how to survive with the loot. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
