Great book by Jack Winnick once again! The reviews on it, along with the sample, are really amazing. With Uri and Lara now married, this case feels a bit different from the earlier three in the series. How will they solve this mystery of the Beverly Hills mall bombing, which also ties in with terrorist interests in Chase and Federal Reserve banks? I would definitely read this, and huge congrats on BOTD :tiphat: !

Based on your review, *The Date Farm* sounds like an engaging mix of high-stakes action, political intrigue, and vibrant scenery. It’s impressive how Jack Winnick managed to combine vivid descriptions of the Caribbean with the suspense of a terrorist investigation. The fact that he portrays realistic teamwork among various investigative agencies like Homeland Security, the CIA, and the FBI adds an authentic layer to the story, showing the challenges and dedication involved in their work. I appreciate your honest note on the escape scene—it’s helpful to know that while Lara and Uri’s experience might account for their quick escape, a bit more tension in that scene could have added to the suspense. Overall, it sounds like an immersive read, especially for those who enjoy thrillers with a dash of romance!

Review of the Date farm.

From the introductory chapter ,it had a very strong introduction, taking you bit by bit to the main course,it was like a building that started off with small fires which later turned into large flames. The Author did well in describing his characters and carrying his readers along with every construction of his words and the vocabulary was all action and an eventful read for me.

The outline of this story is promising and exciting. Lara and Uri need to battle a terrorist group and cut short their vacation. I would definitely give this book a read. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD!

It sounds so destructive! I haven't had the chance to read the other books in the series yet so I'll keep an eye out for them. It was an amazing read! Well done!

The Lara and Uri series always interests me, and I like the dynamic between the duo. They have delivered countless times against the terrorists, and at this point, the book could pass for a movie series. Another thing I enjoyed about the book is the suspense that comes with it. If they seem to get off too easily with the terrorist group, that might be a drawback for me. I hope the author catches on to that quickly. Thanks for the insightful review, and congratulations to the author on BOTD.

Everything was doing well, with this peaceful place and it was turned to be danger zone because of this terrorist attack.

"The Date Farm" by Jack Winnick can pass as a true life story. The author writes so excellently and I have come to identify with Lara and Uri through the reviews of his book. Congrats on BOTD. Nice review.

This book is the 4th part of the Lara Uri series. It starts with gas grenades followed by a shootout at a Beverly Hills mall. The initial sampling is gripping; the writing presents the imagery of the events. Tracking the duo as they solve the mystery will be an edge-of-the-seat read. Great review.

I like thrillers and I watched so many detective series in the past. Your observation about Lara and Uri not struggling too much against the terrorists is remarkable, I suppose they made a good team together. Also, the descriptions of the island can help the reader to imagine being on that yacht and seeing the beauty of those places.

Great review! It’s impressive how The Date Farm balances fast-paced action with vivid descriptions of such beautiful settings like the Caribbean. I also find it fascinating when authors provide enough backstory for a book in a series to stand alone. Definitely sounds like a thrilling read for political thriller fans!

As highlighted in the review, the book is a suspenseful political thriller, set against a vivid backdrop. The attention to details and character precise representation add to the book much in terms of descriptiveness.
