I always love a good crime thriller and this book certainly has all the ingredients necessary to ensure that readers have a good time. Of course one quality of a good writer is being able to make his story so graphic and real that readers feel as if they are actually seeing it in real time or watching a movie and Jack Winnick does that well.

This is definitely the kind of book I like to read. It has a complete package:
'Devil Among Us by Jack Winnick is the second novel in the Lara and Uri Series but can be read as a stand-alone book. The story grips from the first chapter when a bombing incident rips through a New York City Synagogue. I like how the narrative shifts perspectives, providing an omniscient point of view and a dynamic, well-rounded narrative. This is an intense international thriller, and the pace is appropriately fast. Bombings, violent fights, missile attacks, terrorist kidnappings, and more saturate this exciting story so much that I found it hard to put down. I love Lara and Uri. They are so in tune with each other that they communicate without even speaking, and their chemistry is palpable. Their rekindling relationship is one of the highlights of the book and provides a bright spot in an otherwise dark and dangerous thriller.'

"Devil Among Us" by Jack Winnick is a suspenseful thriller and the second novel in the Lara and Uri Series, though it can be read as a standalone. The story begins with a bombing at a New York City synagogue, leading FBI Special Agent Lara Edmomd and Mossad agent Uri Levin to uncover a complex terrorist plot with global implications. Adding it to my reading list!.

The Lara and Uri series has always been intriguing and interesting. Today's BOTD "The Devil amongst Us" by Jack Winnick also narrated the renowned plot of Lara and Uri investigating attacks on the US environs combining efforts as a team. Lara and Uri being lovers and working together make the plot an engaging one. A must for me. Thanks for a detailed review.
