Re: Official Review: The Date Farm by jack winnick
It must be hard to be a woman working in this field and I guess trying to prove to everyone that you're just as capable as your male colleagues would be most people's reaction, so I find this character very interesting. She must be truly confident in herself.I also found it refreshing that both of their characters lacked the typical bravado often displayed by agents in international thrillers. Uri and Lara are skilled agents who don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone. In Lara's case, it was her expertise and actions that won over those initially doubting her ability, as a woman working the assigned mission.
I'm not much into terrorism storylines, but it seems like this book is worth the while.
Thank you for your enthusiastic review!

Thanks for your comment.gali wrote: ↑15 Jul 2019, 05:09 A thriller revolving around a pair of romantically involved agents focusing on stopping Iranian terrorists and retrieve stolen goods sounds suspenseful. Fast-paced, well-written edited, well-developed cast, and complex plot add to the thrill. Too realistic for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!
