'That was how what seemed to be tales and nightmares began manifesting. Who was Erin, and what did she mean by her statement? With Storm Anita brewing, are the people of New Orleans safe?'
I'll like to know more about these.

"Intercessor" by John Robert Still is a gripping mystery novel that masterfully weaves together faith, hope, and redemption, set against the ominous backdrop of a brewing storm, with well-developed characters and a surreal ending. 5/5 stars!

Sounds like a good day gone bad after all. I like how mysterious Erin is, and I'm sure there is more hidden within the pages of the book. Congratulations on the book of the day.

Jim, an attorney, has just moved to New Orleans, and already he senses danger. There is the threat of an impending storm, and a young woman wishes he would die. How will this sense of impending doom work out for Jim? Thank you for your honest and insightful review. This book is worth reading.

Reading through this review, I kept wondering what Jim Hampton was really looking for by going from one bar to another, as though he was being nudged along by some unseen hands. Well, to truly get the full details, grab a copy of 'Intercessor' by John Robert Still.

An interesting twist on a mystery book. I wonder what danger Jim was feeling. I would always trust my instincts, as that would probably allow preparing for any possible danger. Sounds like Erin was a bit salty about Jim's refusal to pay for her drugs.

The mystery in this book is really intriguing, and I'm curious to know what dangers lie ahead for Jim, especially since he's been warned by both Myriam and Carlos.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because getting drunk with a strange couple and ending up in a junkie's apartment isn't my idea of fun. The entire circumstances of the story made me uneasy, and therefore I prefer to skip this book. Congrats with BOTD, anyway!

Horror is not usually my genre but having only a hint of horror and the juxtaposition between the ideas of horror and of religion/faith are certainly an intriguing mix!

Intercessor, which is set in a chaotic New Orleans, blends aspects of mysticism, mystery, and unsettling horror. The story explores forgiveness, miracles, and the relationship between fate and choice through a complex protagonist and surprising encounters.

"Intercessor" by John Robert Still begins with the story of lawyer Jim Hampton. Jim is a specialist in chemical spills in Louisiana. One day he meets Myriam, a Catholic woman who works at the bar, and strange events begin to happen.

Thank you for sharing a captivating review. I love the mysterious atmosphere in this book. I'm usually not a fan of the religious aspect in the stories. But I'm still curious about the surreal ending you mentioned. Recommended for fans of this genre who enjoy an unpredictable read with a hint of horror and thought-provoking narratives.
