Just reading this review makes me want to actually read the book. I like fun mysteries and crime mixed together. My favorite go to thought is romance and erotica but when a mystery book is fun and mixed in with AI technology it's normally really great. I'd love to see a movie adaptation of this book 😊

I rate Thomas Collins' book, Crimeline Hollywood, 4 out of 5 stars. It is an excellent book that is only let down by the sheer number of errors. If this book were professionally edited, I would give it a perfect score.

This book strikes a perfect balance between suspense and humor, making it a highly enjoyable mystery novel. The lighthearted moments, like Dash’s humorous interactions with his GPS during a high-speed chase, provide comic relief amidst the tension of the kidnapping. Nice review.

Crimeline Hollywood is a noirish type read. The protagonist Dash Harwood, Astrologer to the Stars, is the engaging 1st person narrator as he relates with wry humor a harrowing car chase with a mob hitman in the opening chapter. As quick to find new routes as his British GPS Nigel, he hides from the mob in the western North Carolina hometown of his most famous client Sparklynn James. Then Sparklynn goes missing, and he soon gets a call from her husband. Well, that was the end of the sample I read, but the reviewer says he was called to help with the investigation and soon teams up with Rebecca, a female P.I. obsessed with her image. This one sounds like a fun read, and I love short chapters.
