It is very true. The world mostly runs on racial disparities. The book mentions how chinese woman was racially attacked due to the COVID19. Which, was quite a true aspect. Thanks for the review!

It's fantastic that the book tackles tough topics like racism and prejudice without being preachy, just showing the pain they cause. That's so relevant today. Bummer about the editing hiccups, but a 4 out of 5 stars is still solid! If you're into crime novels, drama, or anything contemporary, this one sounds like a must-read.

Richard B. Standridge balances the intensity of a crime investigation with the emotional weight of racial trauma, making it a timely and thought-provoking read.

This sounds like a powerful and timely crime novel. I like that the author tackled racism and prejudice in a realistic way without being preachy. It’s also great to hear that the mystery kept you guessing! Thanks for the thoughtful review.
