I highly suggest this book to anyone who likes crime books. This book doesn't really fall into a specific category but crime is probably the best way to describe it. It takes place in the late 60's and early 70's in Detroit around The Detroit Riots. Forewarning it is heartwrenching and it does have alot to do with, racism, rape, and murder, but it is a phenominal story.
