New to the Classic Genre

Hi guys, i'm more of High Fantasy and fiction reader but picked up Jane Eyre and absolutely loved it.

However, when I tried to read other classics I did not feel the same pull of interest.
Could you recommend me some other classics with a similar introspective, personal feel like Jane Eyre, please? I absolutely loved when she broke the 4th wall and spoke directly to the reader.
Requests: preferably entry level classics that don't overwhelm the reader and maybe from there I can build myself up into loving the genre and make my way to more complex reads.
