Re: Recommendations of Classic Books
The letters begin when Jerusha is 17 and they continue through the end of her college years, but the book is still quite short. If you're considering reading this book but daunted by the fact that it was written in 1912, never fear! It is extremely easy to read.
Judy's letters are often very silly, and many had me smiling or chuckling as I read. She is such a fun, cheerful character, despite her unfortunate past, and readers get to know her quite well through her letters. But the question I was constantly asking myself was, "Will she ever meet Daddy-Long-Legs?"
I won't spoil the ending, but I will say, it was even better than I expected.
So, if you're looking for a light-hearted read with a refreshing and hilarious heroine, pick up Daddy-Long-Legs!

About a 14 year old boy growing up in a poor rural town in the 1920's alongside his beloved grandfather. Will Tweedy has many adventures and close-calls. This book will keep you laughing and probably make you shed a tear or two.
My ALL TIME FAVORITE!
A little bit of "Tom Sawyer" mixed with "To Kill a Mockingbird" style.

This novel addresses racism and injustice in the American South, told from the perspective of a girl, Scout Finch, whose father, Atticus, defends a wrongly accused black man.

2. 1984 by George Orwell – A dystopian classic that examines the dangers of totalitarianism, surveillance, and losing personal freedoms. Its relevance in today’s world makes it a must-read.
3. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald – A tragic story of love, wealth, and the American Dream, set against the backdrop of the Roaring Twenties. Fitzgerald’s writing is lush, and the themes are as relevant as ever.
4. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee – This novel addresses racial injustice and the loss of innocence through the eyes of a young girl in the Deep South. A beautifully written and thought-provoking read.

Truly, what a masterpiece! I first read The Deception Point by Dan Brown and he quickly became my favorite. The intricacies in his writing are fascinating, with every historical detail being accurate. When I read the above-mentioned book, it blew my mind. I was so caught up in the mystery that I finished the 590-page novel within a week! The story is set in the beautiful city of Paris and starts from Le Louvre itself, where a celebrated curator has been murdered, and with all the strength he can muster, he leaves a cryptic message for the protagonist to solve. Exploring the famous works of Leonardo Da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton, and many more, the chase across the city is a brainy thriller to uncover the most awaited historical truth. The Author has cleverly linked all historical facts to weave this amazing fiction with stunning detailing. Though many find it controversial and do not have an open mind to read it, just remember it's fiction. Every Chapter ends with a cliffhanger and the puzzles make you feel like you are stuck in a maze.
I would recommend anyone who loves mystery and thriller or wants to start with one to give it a try. It will make you fall in love with the genre and the author and you will keep coming back for more. If you have already read it, I love to hear your opinions on it
