I read it when I was very young and again as a young adult. I still remember it as being magical.

It’s a timeless classic that is so very beautiful and can be read over and over again. It’s one of those lovely books that I would want my child to read.

I thinks its strengths lie in it ability to capture child like wonder with it being boring.

"The Secret Garden" is 100% a classic! I wish more people talked about it. I remember it being one of my favorites when I was young, and I think I've read it more than once. I want to read it again soon because I'm starting to forget the details.

I love this book also, but I think your right that not many people talk much about it. It's really too bad! Such a wonderful novel!

The secret garden might have not been discovered by many but it is a classic. The penmanship is not anything a modern story can compare to.

The Secret Garden is one of my all-time favorite books. I wish books nowadays were written with such passion.

I read it recently and couldn't get into it. I'm sure it would be different if I'd read it as a child and were revisiting it.

This is a book that I have enjoyed reading several times over the years.
During one of the years when I was teaching elementary school, there was a drama group that came and did a presentation of the book. The children, all the way from kindergarten through 6th grade loved it - as did the teachers. Clearly this is a classic for young and old.
