great book. Who else has read Oliver Twist

I have read it 15-16 years ago and honestly i did not really like it.

That was the first book I've ever read, I've fallen in love with Charles Dickens since then

I too read Oliver Twist. I even owned a copy of the book once. My favourite part was when he goes to live with Master Fagin. I liked the fact that Oliver was innocent. At least there is a happy ending.

Oliver twist is a good book. It has a good-natured boy, haunted by a past he calls his past because of a need to survive.
Don't tell anyone I said this but am emotionally attached to the book.

Dickens was certainly a master at tugging at the heartstrings, and Oliver Twist is a prime example of that. Like all his books I've ever read, I found this to be fascinating, but it was also almost morbidly sad. If you're looking for an inspiring or light read, I don't necessarily recommend Oliver Twist.

I have read it as a child. It was the simplified harper's version so I can't really provide accurate feedback. I am currently reading the original book and I find it very intriguing. Dickens is a master.

I read an abridged version in school, thought it was boring and ignored all of Dickens's books for a long time. In college my friend introduced me to Pickwick Papers and I fell in love with it. I read the full version of Oliver Twist much later, after having read every other Dickens I could find. I love it now and Oliver Twist is currently one of my favourite books to reread. Don't know why I didn't like it in school. Was it a bad abridged version? Maybe I was just a bit too young to read Dickens.

I read Oliver Twist when I was young, didn’t like it then, found it boring. But thinking of reading it again. Maybe I would like it now.

I have watched the movie Oliver Twist and some parts of the book. I think the book's plot is great and it has many themes that are relevant in modern society as well.

I'm planning to buy the paperback version soon enough! I'm quite curious about it and I have a feeling that it'll make a good read!

It was a great book though Charles Dickens is hard to follow for people like me who are used to modern literature but still it was marvelous and I was absolutely hooked. Just my kind of story, not losing the good in you, no matter how hard the circumstances and yes eventually the world does turn around in your favour; a beacon of hope, goodwill and friendship.

Oliver Twist is a masterpiece by the great Charles Dickens. I believe that this story was a true version of a life that some one Dickens knew must have lived. The setting and storyline make this one of the all tine classics!

I read it as a teenager. It was a school requirement but soon I fell in love with the great character development and story building. i felt great empathy even for the ''evil'' characters like Nancy. In fact, she was one of my favorite characters in the novel. The classics are so for a reason!

It was such an amazing story and so I used to like it so much,I read it in my senior two class.
