Hello everyone,
currently I have a little more time to read and I'd like to use it well. So, here's my question: what book changed your way of thinking, point of view or even life? What book will stay in your memory forever?

Definitely Animal Farm by George Orwell!!! This novela will absolutely change your point of view! I think it should be studied in secondary education like any other classic. I don't want to spoil you anything but the quote "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal" will stay in my memory forever. If u have some time to read I definitely recommend it.

I enjoyed "Animal farm". It has been up to 5 years I read this book and I can still recall the way it made me feel. The political aspect of the book is still taking place in our modern society.

I agree with Onwuesi. Animal Farm evoked many feelings in me as well! So did 1984.
If you’re into self improvement and development, any book by Gay Hendricks has earned a well-deserved place on my bookshelf at home!

A book that will forever be etched into my memory is The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Any book by him is a masterpiece but this holds a special place in my heart because it was the first one I read, and the first book able to make me cry. A must must read, truly life changing.

I loved Demon Slayer; I appreciate sci-fi ideas, and the inner power and confidence propel the narrative to amazing heights.

There's one I am very determined to read: Homo Sapiens. I have heard from my lecturers how it's a life-changing piece and can't wait to get time to read it. I have high hopes for it.

I don't know if there is a book of
fiction that can change my way of thinking or point of view (there are several nonfiction that have). But there are several books of fiction that were powerful enough to stay in my memory. Darkness at Noon. Of Human Bondage. The Autumn of the Patriarch. Great Expectations. The Heart is a Lonely Hunter.

Candide by Voltaire. I think the famous line "On doit cultiver le jardin," really resonated with me when I was going through a difficult time in life. There will be sunny days where the plants bloom beautifully and days where the rain washes away every piece of work put into the garden. We have no control over the external circumstances of our lives, only the power to cultivate what we wish to see grow in them.
