Jargon permeates just about all aspects of my work. Although this is something that often evokes eye-rolling, it is also associated with positive work. So I wanted to use some common ones, mainstreaming and inclusion, here because I recognise their implementation in some of Ostroski's experience. Mainstreaming is typically associated with a pro-gender equality development agenda. Likewise, inclusion is linked with attempts to make persons with disability integral to all aspects of life. I was really impressed to see how Ostroski leveraged Hollywood events (red carpet awards) to promote both causes. How much more publicity can one get than that?
