I love the authors line of thought. But his bitterness against the church makes him sound arrogant or something. I did not agree with some of his points especially, his stance on the manifestation of the Holy spirit.

The Book"Wilderness Cry" by Hilary L.Hunt M.D. is an intriguing book which compels someone to read it with tenacity to understand per say. The author's background of science and Medicine injects a sense of a paradigm shift of just a novel but that one has to read it to comprehend the necessity of why God exist. Though it might sound to sway into christianity a greater revelation in reading to understand is needed.
I give it a 3 out of 4 scale. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER !

Wilderness Cry ~ is a Christian Non-Fictional Book which highlights of The Bible, evil, the Trinity, Eternity, personality, development, guilt, free will, marriage and sex, the legal system and many more topics.

Well-written scientific and philosophical approach to understanding God and the universe. Recommended for readers of a scientific and Christianity read.

The book's description as a scientific and philosophical approach to understanding God and the universe, gives the book a broad perspective. I'm glad the author examines different areas of interest without forcing issues down the reader's throat. Definitely worth reading. Thank you for a great review.

Excellent review! I will probably pass on this book for now as this is not the genre I usually choose to read but I found your review to be thought-provoking and informative. Comparing science with Scripture is not a new concept but it looks like the author has done thorough research and presents it well in this book. Thanks for the great review!

"Too often we judge people harshly for just being humans." I couldn't agree more! It sounds like this book was constructed on a firmly educated basis, which I think is important when writing about religion in today's world.

It is true that the world judges people harshly just for existing sometimes. The fact that the author stayed unbiased in a topic like the one presented in the book was impressive.

I like the comprehensive review of the book but the openness makes me rather apprehensive as to the ideas raised in the book and raises questions in my mind as to the level of objectivity of the issues raised therein. I will read the book with a view to establishing the perspectives from which the concepts are explored.

It is nice to have a book about God without focusing on any religion and can be read by anybody without feeling any subjective material on it. It is an interesting book and one that I look forward to digging into. Congrats!

I appreciate that the author is looking to connect with a broad audience by not pigeon-holing himself into one belief system. I think there are some ideas that are able to transcend the boundaries of opposing faiths so it's nice to see them presented in open-minded ways.
