"Winning the War on Cancer" by Sylvie Beljanski is a book in which the daughter described her father Mirko's efforts in the fight against cancer. Mirko Beljanski, PhD was a brilliant biologist-biochemist and a member of the famous Pasteur Institute in Paris. In his research, Mirko Beljanski was rethinking the origin of cancer.

The family has a strong history in the research of cancer and I love how enlightening this book was. I actually see this as an opportunity everyone should embrace.

'Firstly, the author’s ideas are thoroughly backed by scientific research, published articles signed by experts in the field, and treatment protocols for different kinds of cancer.' This book sounds authentic.

I typically dislike books of this nature, however, based on this review, I have a respect for the author. Normally when I see books like this, they very biased and opinionated. With your review, this sounds more like an experience without bias and that allows me to have a more open mind if I read this novel. What a wonderfully well written and thorough review.

I did not expect to be so intrigued by this book. I already understood pharmaceutical companies' goal for profit and lobbying of governments, but I did not expect the actions experienced by the Beljanskis. Something for me to read more about.
