After winning a scholarship, the protagonist witnesses discrimination of many kinds; However, over time he also becomes part of them. This book consists of an autobiography and overcoming obstacles in Douglas's life. Good job #BOTD

I can't imagine the culture shock that the author went through. However, I can imagine the prejudice. Still, I'm not too interested in memoirs but thank you for your review.

What I like is that Dr. Douglas knew what he wanted in his life, and the challenges he faced were not enough to obliterate his dreams. He could make use of any available opportunity he got. Racial discrimination is a sensitive thing that needs to be addressed. Congratulations to the BOTD author!

"Defining Moments of a Free Man from a Black Stream" by Dr Frank L Douglas seems very deep and heart-touching story of Man who is victim of racism. After all the odds he faces he comes out stronger and does his Job. It seems very inspiring to all those who face such issue. It is really sad that people are catergeriosed and judjed by their color.

It’s awful to see racism or to witness it. A person of color’s future is determined by how they look and they are treated bad because they do not look white. I love how it was stated that he overcame difficulties to reach where he is.

The challenges he faced did not kick him down but brought opportunities to him I like that very much.
