Decisions for Living by Gopal Dorai, Ph.D., is one of the best books that I have read in years. This book covers everything about making decisions. It in-depthly explained one's thought process in making decisions, how a decision is to be made, why a decision is to be made, and the best ways to make them.

The author proposes different methods such as the Eisenhower matrix, the rule of thumb, etc. This book is one of those ones that will live on forever. The chance vs. choice aspect is one that I truly believe will shape the course of any human being's life. Grab a copy of this masterpiece to find out more about making decisions.

My favorite aspect of this book was the part about essential economic concepts. I got to learn about various terms such as opportunity count, trade-offs, comparative advantage, making use of substitutes, sunk costs, etc. It was a great experience to learn about them and how they can affect us making decals for ourselves. The law of diminishing returns was interesting to read about because I had always heard about it but not known what it was about. It taught me to always increase across the board and not focus on only one aspect of a specific subject.

While reading this book, I realized the amount of effort the author must have put into writing this book. I applaud the author for the time and research dedicated to writing this book. I can say that it was worth it. I found nothing to dislike about the book. There were no grammatical errors. I rate this book five out of five stars. I recommend this book to those who procrastinate a lot and struggle to make decisions. They will be better off after reading it. This is one of the best books I have read in years, and it should be up there with other masterpieces like The 48 Laws of Power, etc.
