My sis has a Nexus 7 and she uses it for reading a lot. She uses the Aldiko app primarily and she really likes it. I do too. She's not really a person to load her tablet with games (she's in web development and uses it for testing), so it's mostly for reading news/ebooks/productivity. The grip side is neat, and the app is good for reading at night. I've never tested the kindle app on there (I'm the only one that reads with kindle apps).

I have a nexus 7 and i love it! i have to app for kindle on there and i read all the time. the words on the e books can be bigger so i can read them. I have pore eyesight and this helps me alot. i have over 400 e books and i have read almost everyone of them! the nexus 7 is easy to hold, light weight, and you have different options you can do to make it brighter or darker. So to sum it up yes i love my Nexus 7 and i am glad i have it!
