Nook WI-FI connection problems:router problem?

Its a Lynksis router (Cisco)
And a Simple Touch.
And a Mac.

"Your NOOk's WI-FI MAC address:58:67:1a:97:23:74
WPA/WPA2 PSK
Yet it won't allow me to continue with set up.

This mean's its not connected, doesn't it? I tried a few times before and couldn't remember my router password.
Barnes and Noble Nook chat support was not helpful.

Would be grateful for any tips on how to connect this thing...
