I can read in a moving vehicle as long as I am lying down, like resting my head on a pillow.

I have since I was little. I found that it's slightly better when I use an E-reader but not enough to risk getting motion sickness. It's terrible when I'm on long car trips. I just want to read!

I get very car sick when i am reading in the car. Although that has yet to stop me. I usually just end up taking multiple breaks and then going right back to where i left off.

I get carsick for no reason at all sometimes but most of all if i try to read. Not just my kindle its when I read any book. Sometimes go on long trips and like to read (in passenger seat of course :D ) I don't know why but if sip on lemon juice it helps. I just purchased the little lemon juice container that looks like a lemon and take little sips when i start to feel ill.

I get motion sickness while reading in vehicles too, but it really doesn't bother me that much unless the vehicle s going up or down a big hill.

I didn't as a kid, but I do now if I read for more than a few minutes. It's too bad because it used to be my favorite thing to do on long car trips.

I am the only person I know who reads in a moving vehicle. Everyone else says it makes them sick. I would love to find a solution for all who cannot read while riding. So much time wasted.

Ugh I get so sick when I try to read in the car and its terrible! :( I hate when I'm stuck in a car for hours and I can't read no matter how bad I want to cause I know I'll probabky throw up. My motion sickness has always been bad but as I've gotten older its gotten worse. I can't even look down at the floor without feeling sick.

I have suffered with it all my life and have done some research as I get sick even without reading or looking down. It is to do with your eyes are registering something different from your brain and also there is a theory about your middle ear and there is no cure, you are a person who gets sick or you don't, my daughter suffers the same and my son has no problem at all.

I have tried all types of remedies but none work completely, however I do not get air sick or sea sick - very odd.

I have the same problem. I get headaches and also feel nauseous when I try to read or write in a moving car! If the car is still, then I don't have a problem.
