Mobile ebook apps: which ones do you use?

I also use and highly recommend Moon+ Reader for Android. It has a great number of features, supports a multitude of filetypes, and is still simple to use.

I use Calibre on PC and have just recently started using the BookFusion extension and app which syncs my books and reading progress between my phone and computer. The BookFusion app isn't the best mobile ebook reader I've ever seen, but is good enough to recommend if you want to use the syncing feature.

My favorite app is the Aldiko reader but it's only great for epub.

I love BookBub too! It probably one of my favourite platforms and there are usually books available for anyone. It’s also nice because if you have Kindle or iBooks then generally you will have access to all of their book formats too.

I've really enjoyed the Kindle reader on my phone. The ability to search for terms is useful, and I enjoy being able to highlight certain portions of the text. Those two features help me a lot when writing a review.

I don't have a ton of experience with other ebook readers, though. As for books that I've bought for myself (i.e. not to review), I've found the highlighting nice for when I want to research a topic but not at that moment!

I use Amazon Kindle, Google Playbooks. After reading a few comments I will try Prestigio and share my experience in a few days.

I find iBooks really good, even though it’s just the basic iPhone loaded reader. It opens most formats of eBooks. Plus, if I end up getting a PDF book, I can manually add that to iBooks too. Takes a bit of work sometimes, but once it’s loaded it’s there forever!

I am using "Read Era" app it is just amazing. I have been able to open pdf,doc,epub,mobi etc files and there are options for the view of the pages. It is just great. I can surely recommend it.

I use the Kindle app on my phone. It is easiest because my husband has a Kindle device. We can use the same account to use his Kindle Unlimited subscription and I just make my own folder for my own books without disturbing any of his.

I have OBC Reader. I like it's features. It makes the reading time enjoying. But it doesn't open most formats. ReadEra is may favorite regarding opening different files.

True @tsic , I always searched for better ebook readers until i found moon reader. I simply love the auto scroll feature that allows to read at your own speed or even train your reading speed. And thats just one of the cool features.
